Shannon Chao

Shannon advises employers on all aspects of labor and employment law. She represents employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies in cases involving employment discrimination and wage and hour claims. Additionally, she assists employers with navigating union election petitions, unfair labor practice charges, and labor negotiations.
Prior to attending law school, Shannon worked in human resources at Caesars Entertainment, which provided her with a practical understanding of day-to-day human resources matters and hospitality operations. She enjoys using her human resources background and service-oriented skillset to advise clients.
During law school, Shannon interned for the Nevada Division of Industrial Relations, Nevada Attorney General’s Office, and two national law firms. Additionally, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Gloria M. Navarro of the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada.
Shannon was raised in Las Vegas and looks forward to continuing to serve clients in the community. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking, yoga, and playing guitar.
