Please save the date for KZA’s upcoming, one-hour webinar presented by partners Todd Creer and Jen Sarafina on May 28. Mr. Creer and Ms. Sarafina will discuss issues employers face when operating or reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic, including Nevada’s Roadmap to Recovery plan, employee safety, temperature checks and screening, responding to employees who cannot return to work, handling requests for accommodation, and addressing paid leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. They will also address employers’ obligations to provide notice to employees of partial or complete shutdowns or layoffs under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (“WARN Act”).
