Upcoming EEOC Virtual Training On “Meeting The Moment”

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is hosting a virtual equal employment opportunity (EEO) training seminar on September 22, 2020. “Focusing on the theme of ‘Meeting the Moment,’ this virtual training is geared toward human resources and union officials, attorneys, mediators and EEO professionals in the private and federal sectors in California, Nevada, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.”

The seminar will address EEO legal updates, racism in a time of #BLM and COVID-19, the impact of the recent Supreme Court ruling on LGBT workers, and practical tools to combat sexual harassment. Presenters will included EEOC Directors and Deputy Directors as well as the administrator of the Nevada Equal Rights Commission.
