Jody and Kaitlin will briefly review how the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Nevada’s paid leave and worker’s compensation statutes may apply to a leave of absence. They will then walk you through factual scenarios so that you can apply these laws to different fact patterns.

All employers struggle with leave of absence challenges, even when the FMLA does not apply. Together, we will work through varying factual scenarios addressing the types of complicated questions that arise before, during and after a leave of absence.
