Phase 1 Reopening Rules

Volume: 19 | Issue: 26
May 15, 2020

As Nevada begins Phase 1 of Governor Sisolak’s Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery plan, there are a number of resources available to assist employers in understanding their obligations. Employers are encouraged to review the Governor’s Phase 1 order, Directive 18, and both the General and Industry-Specific Guidance for Phase One Re-Opening. Additionally, Nevada OSHA has updated its Guidance for Essential Businesses & Phase 1 Businesses, which all employers should be sure to review.

Employers may also find useful reopening guidelines published by the Southern Nevada Health District and by the Clark County government, as well as public health safety fliers provided by Clark County.

KZA’s attorneys are available to assist you with any questions you may have regarding these materials or reopening.
