NV OSHA Updates COVID-19 Guidance
May 13, 2021
On May 10, 2021, Nevada’s Occupational Safety & Health Administration (NV OSHA) published an Updated Guidance for Business Operations to reflect changes made by Directive 45. This guidance “supersedes previous guidance released on April 26, 2021” and becomes effective immediately.
There are very few differences between the April 26 and May 10 guidances, and it appears that the May 10 guidance is mainly intended to incorporate and cite to Directive 45. One face covering requirement has been removed – specifically, the fourth face covering requirement set forth in the April 26 guidance that read: “Face coverings must be used in public spaces incorporated in or controlled by a business.”
