NV OSHA Issues FAQ On New Face Covering Guidance

Volume: 20 | Issue: 33
May 19, 2021

Last week, the Nevada Occupational Safety & Health Administration (NV OSHA) issued a revised guidance for Nevada employers to address the CDC’s change to its face covering recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals. This week, NV OSHA has published a few answers to frequently asked questions regarding this new guidance. The FAQ cover questions regarding which employers the guidance applies to and how to address face coverings for employees working inside and outside, but also topics such as removal of plexiglass barriers, temperature checks, and cleaning.

Additionally, the federal OSHA has updated its COVID-19 FAQ on whether employers are required to record adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine.

We encourage employers to review both FAQs and contact a KZA attorney with any questions.
