NV OSHA Again Updates COVID-19 Guidance

Volume: 20 | Issue: 51
August 2, 2021

In light of Emergency Directive 47, which requires all persons in counties with substantial or high community transmission rates to wear a face covering in public indoor spaces, the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NV OSHA) has again updated its COVID-19 Guidance for Nevada Businesses. NV OSHA has also updated its frequently asked questions on COVID-19.

The update guidance now details requirements for employers in counties with substantial or high risk of community transmission and requirements for employers in counties with low to moderate risk of community transmission. The guidance also sets forth universal requirements for all Nevada employers.

Given the recent rapid changes to COVID-19 mitigation requirements, we encourage all employers to carefully review this updated guidance and FAQs. KZA attorneys are available to assist you with any questions you have.
