New Domestic Violence Leave Posting Is Available
January 18, 2024
As you know, Nevada’s domestic violence leave law requires employers to post a bulletin describing employees’ rights under the law. This bulletin is prepared by Nevada’s Labor Commissioner and must be posted in a conspicuous location in each workplace maintained by the employer.
A new bulletin is now available to reflect the changes made to the domestic violence leave law during the 2023 Legislative Session. As we discussed in December 2023, Assembly Bill 163 expanded the law to include victims of sexual assault.
If you have questions about this law or your posting obligations, please contact a KZA attorney.
