Nevada Legislative Session Ends
The Nevada Legislative session ends today, Monday, June 2, 2025. Those bills which have passed the Assembly and the Senate are being finalized or are waiting for the Governor’s approval or veto. This process may take several days as the Governor has ten days to act if there are fewer than five days remaining in the session when he received a bill or a bill is delivered after adjournment.
As always, once we know which bills will become new laws, KZA will provide you with a summary of those relating to labor and employment matters.
If you have immediate questions about a pending bill, please contact a KZA attorney for assistance. Otherwise, stay tuned to the KZA Employer Reports!
KZA Employer Report articles are for general information only; they are not intended and should not be construed to be legal advice. Reading or replying to such articles does not establish an attorney-client relationship. In addition, because the subject matters and applicable laws discussed in Employer Report articles are often in a state of change and not always applicable to every type of business entity or organization, readers should consult with counsel before making decisions based on the same.
