NERC Offers Free Sexual Harassment Training For Employers

The Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC) is hosting a free training session for employers on sexual harassment. Offered jointly by UNLV’s Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the NERC, the training will provide information on “best practices, how to identify sexual harassment, how [to] address it in the appropriate manner, and how to minimize sexual harassment complaints in the workplace.” The training will take place on Thursday, August 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation’s Las Vegas office, 2800 E. St. Louis Avenue. Registration is required to reserve limited seating, but the training is free. For more information, click here.
