On August 7, 2024, KZA’s Gregg Kamer appeared as a guest on WWDBTV’s “The Gift of Giving” program to discuss the work of Nevada Legal Services. Gregg is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Nevada Legal Services (NLS). He was interviewed with Alex Cherup, NLS Interim Executive Director.

In the program, Gregg and Alex explained the critical work of this nonprofit organization which provides free legal services to low-income Nevadans. With offices in Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, Yerington, and Elko, NLS seeks to ensure fairness and provide equal access to justice for low-income Nevadans. NLS employs attorneys who provide free representation to qualifying Nevadans in a wide variety of civil areas, such as consumer rights, unemployment, worker’s rights, homeownership and leasing, family law, public benefits, and immigration.

Gregg and Alex also discussed a few of NLS’ projects that focus on particular groups of under-represented individuals, such as the Indian Law Project, the Farmworker Law Program, the Senior Law Project, and the Veterans Law Project.

We are proud of Gregg’s commitment to Nevada Legal Services and invite you to learn more about this impressive non-profit through Greg and Alex’s enthusiastic discussion on “The Gift of Giving.” Thanks to Stephen Murray for highlighting NLS!
