On May 1, 2020, the Nevada Gaming Control Board issued Health and Safety Policies for the Resumption of Gaming Operations, providing “new operational requirements” for restricted and nonrestricted licensees “to mitigate and reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for all employees, patrons, and other guests.” The policies constitute the minimum requirements that should be followed by licensees once they are permitted to reopen. They are subject to “revision by the Board based on recommendations from federal, state, and local health authorities related to the spread of COVID-19.”
