EEOC Provides Additional COVID-19 Guidance
Volume: 19 | Issue: 18
April 10, 2020
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has updated and expanded its COVID-19 guidance to employers. The EEOC has created a COVID-19 web page where employers can find a variety of resources regarding COVID-19’s impact on federal fair employment laws, including a pre-recorded webinar. Additionally, the EEOC answers specific questions about medical exams and disability-related inquiries, confidentiality of medical information, hiring, reasonable accommodations, and pandemic-related harassment. We encourage all employers to continue to periodically review this information during the pandemic.
