March 22, 2021

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has published additional information about the reopening of its EEO-1 data collection in 2021.

As we reported in January, the EEOC will open four data collections in 2021. On Friday, March 19, the EEOC reported that the EEO-1 Component 1 data collection for 2019 and 2020 will open at the end of April 2021 and close in July 2021. “The exact closing date will be posted when the data collection launches. Employers will be notified of additional details and how to access the online filing system in April.”

The schedule for EEO-3, EEO-4 and EEO-5 data collections can be found on the EEOC’s new dedicated data collection website
