Did You Know? KZA Conducts Investigations!

Volume: 21 | Issue: 20

Many employers understand the need to conduct prompt and thorough investigations when workplace situations arise. Conducting a good investigation is the cornerstone of an employer’s defense in the event of a later legal complaint or lawsuit.

Our KZA attorneys have often been called upon to conduct investigations for our clients. Using our law firm for investigation work can be very helpful when a matter is particularly sensitive, involves high-ranking individuals, or when internal conflicts may arise. We can also assist those employers who may not have internal human resources staff or have insufficient in-house resources to devote the time needed for an investigation.

We have investigated many different issues, including alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, policy infractions and ethics violations. In our investigative work, we conduct the necessary interviews, review documentation, and deliver a final report detailing the investigative findings and recommendations.

If you need our assistance with an investigation, please contact a KZA attorney so we can help you determine the scope of the investigation and discuss a proposed budget.
