Gaming Control Updates Reopening Health & Safety Policies

Volume: 19 | Issue: 30
May 28, 2020

Yesterday, the Nevada Gaming Control Board issued amended and updated Health and Safety Policies for the Resumption of Gaming Operations. The Board made non-substantive changes to its earlier policy for restricted licensees. For nonrestricted licensees, substantive changes have been made, including a requirement to make face coverings available to guests and patrons, temperature screenings and symptom self-assessments for hotel guests upon check in, an on-site medical professional for resort hotels, and designated areas where hotel guests may be tested for COVID-19 and await test results.

We encourage all licensees to review the Board’s notice and updated policies carefully and contact a KZA attorney with any questions.
