Nevada Gaming Control Board Rescinds All COVID-19 Protocols
May 27, 2021
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has announced that all of the COVID-19 protocols issued by the Board during the pandemic are rescinded as of 12:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Each licensee is expected to comply with its respective county’s Local COVID-19 Plan, including any changes made to such plan should COVID-19 cases increase. Moreover, each licensee must fully comply with Emergency Directive 45, as well as the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 447.300 to 447.355 (the COVID-19 requirements from Senate Bill 4 for public accommodation facilities).
Please note that Clark County and other counties have recently made changes to their COVID-19 mitigation plans. Moreover, we expect the Nevada Legislature to pass an amendment to the COVID-19 requirements for public accommodation facilities within the next week. As always, we will keep you updated on developments in these areas.
