Topic: Employee Conduct - Investigations and Discipline

August 3, 2017 - 2:30-5:00 p.m.

Volume 16, Issue 13
July 10, 2017

How employers investigate and remedy issues of employee misconduct and internal workplace complaints can have serious legal and practical impacts affecting defenses to agency charges and lawsuits, productivity, employee morale, and workplace culture. As such, conducting workplace investigations and issuing employee discipline are two of the most important duties HR professionals and managers must perform. Shifting workforce demographics, new laws, and constantly evolving best practices also make those duties some of the most challenging.

Please join KZA at the Springs Preserve from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 for an advanced level presentation on internal workplace investigations and employee discipline. In this Management Workshop, we will address many of the important investigation and discipline challenges employers must be ready to confront. Through sample scenarios we will explore solutions to the obstacles workplace investigators face in discovering and assessing the relevant facts. We will also provide guidance to ensure that management's decisions are defensible to the fullest extent possible.

This Management Workshop is complimentary for all current KZA clients and available to non-clients for a nominal, prepaid registration fee of $25.00. Refreshments will be provided.
